It was still drizzling when we arrived at around 5.00pm and we walked up the slope before coming to the palace square where we saw the palace guards, a beautiful statue right in the center of the square that oversee the city centre from the top.
Our tour group stopped by here for a brief visit (after visiting the Vingeland Sculpture Park nearby, please review to my earlier review of it here too). It is a simple and yet lovely building covering a huge area. Compared to it's counterparts in UK, France or even next door 'Sweden', this palace may not seen to be as grand or majestic but it has its own style and beauty.
